Cloudflare provides an edge certificate for an active CDN domain. You should also secure the connection between Cloudflare and the hosting server.
- Open the Hosting Control Panel and select CDN.
- Open the Cloudflare dashboard for the domain.
- Select SSL/TLS > Overview.
- Select Full (strict) when the origin website has a valid SSL certificate. This is the recommended mode.
- Use Full only when the origin certificate cannot be validated yet. Avoid Flexible because traffic between Cloudflare and the origin server is not encrypted.
- Allow time for Cloudflare's edge certificate and DNS changes to become active, then test the website over HTTPS.
