How to configure SSL for a Cloudflare CDN domain

Control Panel V10 > Hosting Control Panel

Cloudflare provides an edge certificate for an active CDN domain. You should also secure the connection between Cloudflare and the hosting server.

  1. Open the Hosting Control Panel and select CDN.
  2. Open the Cloudflare dashboard for the domain.
  3. Select SSL/TLS > Overview.
  4. Select Full (strict) when the origin website has a valid SSL certificate. This is the recommended mode.
  5. Use Full only when the origin certificate cannot be validated yet. Avoid Flexible because traffic between Cloudflare and the origin server is not encrypted.
  6. Allow time for Cloudflare's edge certificate and DNS changes to become active, then test the website over HTTPS.
