How to enable Cloudflare Under Attack mode

Cloudflare Under Attack mode adds an interstitial browser check that can help mitigate an active Layer 7 attack. Enable it temporarily because it can affect visitors, APIs, analytics, and automated clients.

1. Open CDN in the Hosting Control Panel and open the Cloudflare dashboard for the domain.
2. Select the domain's security settings.
3. Enable Under Attack mode from Security settings or the dashboard's Quick Actions area.
4. Confirm that normal browser visitors can complete the security check and reach the website.
5. Disable the mode after the attack has ended.

For recurring attacks, configure targeted WAF, rate-limiting, and firewall rules instead of leaving Under Attack mode enabled permanently.
